Manoir de La Haule, 14th Century Manor House - view from the garden

Le Manoir de La Haule is a magnificent 15th & 16th Century fortified manor house on the Cherbourg peninsular in Normandy, France, operated as a holiday home on a shared or fractional ownership basis.

It is ideally placed for access from the UK (40 minutes from Cherbourg ferries), with convenient local amenities within 5km and the expanse of the Normandy beaches (both East and West coast) only a short drive away. Accommodation includes 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (3 en suite), a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room with large open fireplace and study / playroom.

The house is wholly owned by its shareholders, each who own one or more weeks, but weeks are often available to purchase. Click for a list of current weeks for sale.

There is an extensive 5 acre garden (basic maintenance is covered by the service charge, but gardening enthusiasts among the shareholders enjoy helping) plus tennis and boule courts, outdoor furniture and barbecue equipment plus bicycles for all.
